Middle Farm Barns are two delightful self catering holiday cottages. They were converted from redundant farm buildings in 2006 and are situated by the side of an old Roman road in the picturesque hamlet of Vennington, nestled on Long Mountain in Shropshire.

Vennington is one mile from the A458, and is ideally positioned to discover the Shropshire Hills, the medieval towns of Shrewsbury & Ludlow and Mid-Wales.

The Roman City of Chester is only 1 hour away. Many attractions are within easy reach, including the Ironbridge Gorge Museums, The Severn Valley Railway and numerous National Trust & English Heritage sites

The barns have been converted to a very high standard, using natural materials, oak, slate and stone tiles with high quality fixtures and fittings.

The Granary sleeps 6 people comfortably with an additional double sofa-bed in the lounge, and probably dates back to 1650.

The Byre sleeps 4 people comfortably with an additional double sofa-bed in the lounge. Both properties feature jacuzzi baths.

They also have a number of enviromentally sustainable features:

The barns are heated with gentle under floor heating throughout, which is converted from a ground source heat exchanger, making your holiday one of the most eco-friendly in Shropshire.
